General Information
On this page, we explain how to easily play Feral Druid in World of Warcraft — Dragonflight 10.2.6, usingthe simplest rotation, talent tree, stat priority, gear setup, etc., without sacrificing performance.
1.
Foreword
This section is intended for players who are new to the game or class,have no intentions of raiding Mythic difficulty or want a morestraightforward way to play their specialization without being overwhelmedby the numerous priorities and active abilities that need to be taken intoconsideration for optimal play.
2.
The Basics of Feral Druid
Feral can be quite overwhelming to new players due to the dualresource system paired with numerous buffs/debuffs to maintain. Despite thequite complex base toolkit, it plays quite fluidly in practice once you havegrasped the core rules. There are also several options to ease theprecision required on the talent tree that can be taken, which is the buildtaken on this page rather than those used in the advanced sections. We haveaimed to have a build that can operate in different target counts and avoidsacrificing the most powerful options, even if they are slightly more difficultto execute.
If you are completely new to Feral as a spec and need more detailedinformation on each ability available to you, we have aSpell Summary page that covers each of them.
Feral Druid Spell Summary Page
No matter the build you take as Feral, Bleeds remain omnipresentas part of gameplay. Due to that, you will need to be able to trackthem and your Energy/Combo Points effectively. This build will granta lot more room for failure. Still, it will not compensate for severemistakes, as Feral has a naturally unforgiving nature towardmismanagement. Due to this, you should take a look at our Addons page fortools to track these effects:

Beginner Talent Choices for Feral Druids
The talents listed below are selected either for ease of use ora more easy-to-understand gameplay style. It is important to note thisis not an optimal setup and instead is aimed toward ease ofuse and flexibility when learning Feral.
While many of our recommended builds use effects such as Bloodtalons,this instead takes Lion's Strength solely because it is extremely hard tomake a mistake with. Some key talents, such as Saber Jaws are missing heredue to the extra strain on resources it adds, so this is a compromise to convertas much of the toolkit as possible to also work in AoE while avoiding extragameplay requirements. The one exception is Feral Frenzy, which is nowrequired with the Tier 31 set bonus.
Remember these talents do compromise on output for ease of use.You can see our full talents page below if you are looking for the absolutebest options or a more in-depth evaluation of each talent.

Stat Choices for Feral Druid
The current Feral stat priority is as follows when using this build:
- Agility;
- Critical Strike;
- Mastery;
- Haste;
- Versatility.
Agility is by far the strongest stat to focus on in Dragonflight forFeral, so item level usually dictates the most desirable item. After this,you want a healthy amount of Critical Strike due to Primal Fury.Mastery can be stacked everywhere else alongside a small amount of Haste.The only strong rule for Feral gearing is to try and avoid Versatilitywhenever possible.
Generally, we try to keep our Beginner pages the same as our more detailedstats page, but more details regarding selections are covered here:

5.
Basic Rotation for Feral Druids
- Cast Berserk.
- Cast Tiger's Fury.
- Cast Feral Frenzy, ideally at 0-2 Combo Points.
- Cast Primal Wrath at 5 Combo Points in AoE situations
- Apply and maintain Rip against a single target.
- Cast Convoke the Spirits.
- Cast Ferocious Bite with an Apex Predator's Craving proc, or when at 5 Combo Points.
- Maintain Rake on your primary target.
- Spend Brutal Slash charges to build Combo Points.
- Maintain Thrash.
- Cast Shred to build Combo Points.
Due to the fluid nature of the Feral DPS style that relies on youjuggling two resources alongside Bleed uptime, you have a less strictrule to using your abilities. Some talents have been avoided due tothem adding additional burden, but there are some in Season 3 thatsimply cannot be dropped. Primal Wrath is taken to givea good AoE Combo Point spender, while Rampant Ferocity ispicked up to convert Ferocious Bite for AoE (and capitalize on Apex Predator's Craving procs).
In single-target, focus on maintaining your Rip and Rake bleeds, reacting to Apex Predator's Craving procs andspending your leftover resources on Ferocious Bite. Tryto overlap your 2 damage amp cooldowns in Berserk and Tiger's Fury with each Convoke the Spirits cast.
On our dedicated rotation page, you can find a more detailedversion of the priority list that covers advanced talents.
