Ingredients
- 6 ounces dairy-free white chocolate chips
- 6 ounces dairy free semi sweet chocolate chips (see notes)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil , divided
- 22 oreos
- 2 tablespoons colored sprinkles optional
Instructions
Cover a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Get out two microwave-safe bowls. Add white chocolate chips to one bowl and dark chocolate chips to the other bowl. Distribute a half teaspoon of coconut oil to each. Microwave each bowl separately, beginning with 30 seconds to a minute, followed by a stir. Then repeat with 10 to 15-second increments, until the chocolate has melted. Then stir until smooth.
Use a fork to dip half of the oreos in white chocolate and half of the oreos in dark chocolate. Tap the fork lightly on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place the dipped cookies on the prepared pan. Let them set on the pan for about 5 minutes.
Then drizzle either dark or white chocolate over the cookies and add colorful sprinkles based on the season.
Place the tray of still-wet chocolate-covered cookies in the fridge for 10 minutes or so to allow the chocolate to set.
When they’re ready, remove the pretzels from waxed paper and place them in a lidded container. Store them in the fridge for up to 10 days. They can be frozen for up to 2 months.
