Good evening and welcome fellow Children of Chaos.

This movie spends over an hour with a forced romance between 2 personality devoid characters. Then it gets insanely voyeuristic for no reason.

    Just a dull movie

  • Review by Rich Trash🗑️ ★½

Frozen In Fear aka The Flying Dutchman is one part horror, one part erotic thriller, and a good dose of Eric Roberts trying to be sexy while being a serial killer.

This isn't necessarily good but I can appreciate the idea of using bodies as ice sculptures. Sadly, it took too long to get to the cool parts. That left the rest of the movie as cold as the snow and ice-covered setting. Which also means it is kind of boring.

This was watched as part of the Summer of Trash Challenge

  • Review by Blaze the Action Junkie ½

A woman falls in love with an artist who happens to be a serial killer. To be honest I found this one as boring as this review is going to be short. Even the predictable climax sequence was kind of dull and tedious. I'd say this one is good to put folks to sleep, and that's about it..

I don’t know if I’m more upset by the concept of women being made pure when they are encased in ice or by Eric Roberts- just generally. But I think it is all-around plainly awful.

  • Review by Numbercrunch youtube/RetroHorror ★★

made for tv murder/thriller that struggles with a bad script and uninspired acting.

  • Review by konradorion

Are women more likely to exemplify purity as blocks of ice? Find out in this nearly unwatchable movie.

  • Review by Jamie Patterson ★★★★★ 1

This is either a 1 star or 5 star for how bad it is and I’m feeling chaotic tonight, so 5 it is! Truly a terrible, hilariously bad, bad made for tv movie, and the longest hour and a half I’ve ever sat thru.

  • Review by chelseabodnar ★★★★½

I rated this highly because it is terrible and I've rewatched it a million times.

  • Review by Demdike ★★

Featuring the lovely Catherine Oxenberg as an art dealer fascinated by the paintings of a disturbed man in an isolated Montana town. After meeting Sean (Eric Roberts) she falls for him but soon discovers a series of young women have gone missing in the area over the past few months.

In all truth this horror / thriller is a fairly average tv movie, albeit nicely photographed, making atmospheric use of it's wilderness locations. There's not much in the way of violence until the finale when it suddenly decides to go down the sexploitation route with the camera practically salivating at a gagged naked girl strapped to a table.

Rod Steiger co-stars, and he Roberts and Oxenberg make it a better watch than it probably deserves.

    Weird rod steiger movie
