Feral Druid DPS Spell List and Glossary - Dragonflight 10.2.6 (2024)

If you are new to Feral, we recommend reading this page before proceedingto get a grasp of all of the tools available to the specialization. This pageexplains each specific ability and the tools Feral hasaccess to in Dragonflight, both baseline and on both talenttrees. It also provides abbreviations commonly used by the community foreach ability, which is the best starting point for getting to gripswith the moving parts of Feral.

If you are leveling as Feral, you will likely only have access to some of the abilities listed here once you reach higher levels. However, ourdedicated leveling guide explains what to aim for and when you will unlockspecific tools:

Feral comes with a dual resource system of Energy and Combo Points. Energyfuels the majority of your abilities, most of which either generate a ComboPoint (builders), such as Shred, or spend your Combo Points(finishers), such as Rip. You come with a baseline cap of 100Energy (which can be altered through some talents and effects) that slowly regenerateseach second, scaling with your Haste rating. Combo Points are spent all at onceon your finishers, and the intensity of your finishers is based on how manyCombo Points were consumed (up to the maximum of 5).

While listed below, all shapeshifts provide the bonus of grantingimmunity to Polymorph effects on top of their other bonuses explained below.This includes Cat Form, Bear Form, Travel Form and Moonkin Form.

Cat Form	-	Shapeshift that grants access to a majority of Feral abilities increasesyour auto-attack damage by 40% and movement speed by 30%.
Wrath	-	Caster form ability that deals minor Nature damage with a 1.5-second castand a 40-yard range. Not used by Feral in most situations.
Moonfire	MF	Deals low Arcane damage to your target and applies a small Arcane DoTeffect lasting 16 seconds. This cannot be used in Cat Formwithout Lunar Inspiration taken, but can be used at range to pulladditional targets or deal damage when forced out of range.
Regrowth	RG	An instant heal on your target that leaves a small HoT lasting for12 seconds. This has a 1.5-second cast, a 40-yard range, and can be madeinstant cast via Predatory Swiftness.
Entangling Roots	Roots	Roots your current target in place for up to 30 seconds, but any damagedealt may break the effect. This has no cooldown, a 1.7-second cast, anda 35-yard range. This serves as a point-and-click crowd control tool, andcan be made instant via Predatory Swiftness.
Shred	-	Your core single-target Combo Point builder spell, dealing high Physicaldamage at the cost of 40 Energy. This comes with a lot of supporting talentsthroughout the tree.
Dash	-	Instantly activates Cat Form, and grants an additional 60%Movement Speed within your Cat shapeshift for 10 seconds on a 2-minutecooldown. A core movement cooldown.
Ferocious Bite	FB / Bite	A direct damage Feral finisher, dealing heavy Physical damage for25 Energy, and consuming up to 5 Combo Points. It will also consume upto another 25 Energy to deal 100% extra damage. This is used wheneveryou have surplus Combo Points available to deal a high burst of damage,but is used sparingly to avoid getting in the way of your Rip uptime.It also has a lot of supporting talents on the tree.
Bear Form	-	Shapeshifts you into a Bear, granting 220% increased Armour,25% additional Stamina and access to some Bear Form-only abilities. This is aninstant shift, and can be used as an extra survival tool due to the increasedHealth and is beneficial due to having no cooldown, so shouldbe used whenever you are worried about dying to a mechanic.
Growl	Taunt	Taunts your current target, causing it to attack you for up to 3 seconds.This has a 30-yard range and an 8-second cooldown and requires Bear Formto cast.
Mark of the Wild	MotW	Mark of the Wild buffs all raid or party members (including yourself),granting 3% Versatility for 1 hour.
Barkskin	Bark	Reduces all damage you take by 20% for 12 seconds and prevents damage takendelaying spell casts. This can also be used when stunned or incapacitatedwhile in any shapeshift form and has a 1-minute cooldown. Flexible, lowcooldown survival tool.
Travel Form	-	Shapeshifts you into either a fast-moving land or aquatic beast, conferringsignificantly increased movement speed in each scenario but pacifying you. Thiscan only be used outdoors but has uses for open-world content.
Prowl	Stealth	Prowl has a 6-second cooldown, causing you to enter Stealth,reducing the distance enemies and players can see you. This also activatessome specific bonuses from Shred and Rake with the Pouncing Strikes talent active. The cooldown only begins rechargingafter leaving Stealth, and can only be used when out of combat.
Rebirth	CR	An in-combat resurrection tool with a 10-minute cooldown, a 2-second casttime, and requires you to be outside of any shapeshift forms. In Raidencounters and keystones, this will accumulate charges based on group sizethat allow you to cast it multiple times in a row if banked up, but cannotbe cast by you or any allies if your group has no charges available.

Ability	Abbreviation	Description/Effect
Rake	-	Your primary rotational Bleed instantly deals moderate Bleed damagethen serious Bleed damage over 15 seconds, generating one Combo Point and costing35 Energy. Managing this is relatively easy as it has no pre-requisites otherthan the Energy to cast it, and should be kept up at all times on yourmain target.
Rip	-	Your finisher Bleed, costing up to 5 Combo Points to deal very high Bleeddamage, with the duration extending based on how many Combo Points were consumed.This consumes all available Combo Points when cast and costs 20 Energy. Youwant always to make sure you have enough resources available to keep thisactive at all times.
Thrash	-	Your AoE Bleed tool, costing 40 Energy, deals a small amount of directBleed damage and then leaves a DoT Bleed effect on targets hit for 15 seconds,and generating one Combo Point. This provides a way to apply Bleeds tomultiple targets efficiently in range to activate some effects.
Swipe	-	The AoE alternative to Shred as a Combo Point builder, dealingmoderate Physical damage at the cost of 35 Energy. This deals fulldamage up until 5 targets, and then will deal reduced damage to anybeyond that.
Maim	-	Combo Point finisher deals low Physical damage for 30 Energy, spending upto 5 Combo Points to stun your target for 1 second per Combo Point spent, ona 20-second cooldown. Due to its high resource cost, this is reserved forsituations where a stun is desperately needed.
Skull Bash	Kick	Feral's interrupt tool, interrupting your target's current spell castand locking the school out for 3 seconds on a 15-second cooldown. Also comeswith the added advantage of a mini-charge to your target from up to 13 yardsaway, which can often be very useful.
Frenzied Regeneration	-	Instant cast ability with a 36-second cooldown that heals you for 24% ofyour max health over 3 seconds. It costs 10 Rage and requires Bear Form.
Ironfur	-	Instant cast ability on a 0.5-second GCD, costing 40 Rage and requiring Bear Form that increases your Armour for 7 seconds.
Rejuvenation	Rejuv	Instant cast ability that applies a 12-second HoT effect to you or anally within 40 yards. It cannot be used while shapeshifted.
Swiftmend	-	Consumes an active Rejuvenation, Regrowth or Wild GrowthHoT to instantly heal you or a targeted ally within 40 yards for a large amount,with a 15-second cooldown. It cannot be used while shapeshifted.
Wild Growth	WG	Applies a HoT effect for 6 seconds to the targeted ally within 40 yardsand up to 5 others within 30 yards of the target with a 10-second cooldown.Healing is fast initially and decays over the duration. Cannot be castwhile shapeshifted.
Remove Corruption	Decurse/Dispel	Dispels all Curse and Poison effects on you or your targeted allywhen cast, with an 8-second cooldown and 40-yard range.
Starfire	-	Deals Arcane damage to your target within 40 yards and a smaller amount toenemies within 5 yards of the target with a 2.5-second cast. It can only be castwhen not shapeshifted, or while in Moonkin Form.
Sunfire	-	Instant cast that deals Nature damage to your target and applies aDoT for 18 seconds for additional Nature damage with a 40-yard range. Canonly be cast when not shapeshifted or while in Moonkin Form.
Starsurge	-	Instant cast that deals Astral damage to your target within 40 yards with a 10-secondcooldown. It can only be cast when not shapeshifted or while in Moonkin Form.
Moonkin Form	-	Shapeshift that increases spell damage by 10% and Armour by 125%. This allowsyou to cast Druid and Balance spells while active.
Hibernate	CC	Causes your target to fall asleep for up to 40 seconds with a 1.5-secondcast and 30-yard range, but any damage taken will break this effect. This canonly be used on Beasts or Dragonkin. Only one target can be affected by thisat a time.
Stampeding Roar	Roar	Increases the movement speed of you and all allies within 15 yards by 60%for 8 seconds with a 2-minute cooldown. This is a handy raid tool in fightsthat require raid movement, but bear in mind the short radius.
Soothe	-	Dispels all Enrage effects on your target, with a 10-second cooldown anda 40-yard range.
Cyclone	-	A 1.5-second cast and a 20-yard range that causes your target to be crowdcontrolled and immune to all damage, healing, and effects for 6 seconds. Thishas no cooldown, but only one target can be affected by this at a time.
Typhoon	Knock	A 30-second cooldown instant cast that knocks back all enemies in a widecone in front of you backward, and slow them for 6 seconds.
Renewal	-	Instantly restores 30% health on a 1.5-minute cooldown, and can be usedin any shapeshift form. Personal survival tool with a long cooldown.
Wild Charge	Charge	A 15-second cooldown ability that provides different movement optionsbased on your current shapeshift form. No form will cause you to jump toa targeted ally, Cat Form and Bear Form will charge toyour target and Moonkin Form will cause you to leap backwards.
Tiger Dash	TD	Replaces your Dash ability, increasing your movement speed by200% decaying over 5 seconds on a 45-second cooldown. Provides frequenthigh-intensity burst movement.
Mighty Bash	Stun	Stuns your target for 4 seconds with a 1-minute cooldown. Can beused in any shapeshift form and provides point-and-click crowd control.
Incapacitating Roar	Incap	Incapacitates all enemies within 10 yards for 3 seconds with a 30-secondcooldown, and shifts you into Bear Form. Damage taken will break thiseffect, but provides an AoE interrupt tool.
Heart of the Wild	HotW	Heart of the Wild enhances your off-spec abilities for 45-seconds ona 5-minute cooldown. This provides: 30% additional healing and 50% reduced Mana cost for healing spells. 20% additional magic damage and 30% cast time reduction for balance spells. 20% additional Stamina in Bear Form, allows Ironfur tostack multiple times and grants Frenzied Regeneration an additionalcharge.
Mass Entanglement	Mass Root	A 30-second cooldown instant cast that roots your target and any otherenemies 15 yards around them in place for 30 seconds, with a 30-yard range.This can be cast in any shapeshift form and provides AoE crowd control.
Ursol's Vortex	Vortex	Places a circle on the ground within 30 yards for 10 seconds on a 1-minutecooldown, slowing enemies within by 50%. The first time an enemy tries to leavethis area, they will be pulled back to the center and can be used in anyshapeshift form.
Innervate	-	Instant cast that grants an ally within 40 yards an 8-second buff thatallows them to cast spells without any Mana cost on a 3-minute cooldown. Canonly be used on Healer specialized players and can be cast while in Cat Form.
Nature's Vigil	-	Causes all single-target damage to also heal a nearby friendly target for20% of the damage dealt for 15 seconds on a 1.5-minute cooldown.

Primal Fury	-	A passive that causes any direct damage Critical Strikes to generate 2Combo Points instead of the usual 1, but does not apply to your DoT Bleedeffects. This can also only generate 1 extra point with AoE tools such as Swipe, regardless of the number of Critical Strikes that occur.This directly increases the value of the Critical Strike rating as a secondarystat, improving resource generation.
Killer Instinct	-	Increases your Physical damage dealt and Armor by 3/6%.
Feline Swiftness	-	Increases your movement speed by 8/15%.
Tireless Pursuit	-	Causes you to retain up to 40% of your bonus Cat Formor Travel Form movement speed for 3 seconds after leavingthe shapeshift.
Well-Honed Instincts	WHI	When you fall below 40% health, you will automatically triggera Frenzied Regeneration heal. This has a 120/90 second internalcooldown.
Protector of the Pack	-	Stores a portion of all damage you deal up to a cap, and when younext cast Regrowth this pool is consumed to provide additionalhealing.
Thick Hide	-	Reduces all damage you take by 3/6%.
Matted Fur	-	Causes your Barkskin and Survival Instincts caststo also grant a small absorb shield when cast.
Ursine Vigor	-	Grants an additional 10/20% Health and Armor for 4 seconds when youshapeshift into Bear Form.
Improved Barkskin	-	Extends the duration of Barkskin by 4 seconds.
Verdant Heart	-	Causes your Barkskin and Frenzied Regeneration effectsto also increase all healing taken by 20% while active.
Lycara's Teachings	-	Grants 2/4/6% additional secondary stats depending on your current form: Bear Form grants Versatility. Cat Form grants Critical Strike. Moonkin Form grants Mastery. Grants Haste when not shapeshifted.
Improved Stampeding Roar	-	Reduces the cooldown of Stampeding Roar by 1 minute.
Natural Recovery	-	Increases all healing you do and receive by 2/4%.
Improved Rejuvenation	-	Increases the duration of Rejuvenation by 3 seconds.
Nurturing Instinct	-	Increases magic damage and healing by 3/6%.
Improved Sunfire	-	Causes your Sunfire ability also to apply the DoTeffect to all enemies within 8 yards of your target.
Astral Influence	-	Increases the range of all abilities (and melee attacks) by 1/3 yards.
Rising Light, Falling Night	-	Increases all damage and healing done by 3% during the day or increasesyour Versatility by 2% during the night (based on in-game time).
Gale Winds	-	Increases the radius of Typhoon by 20%, and its range by 5 yards.
Incessant Tempest	-	Reduces the cooldown of Typhoon by 5 seconds.
Forestwalk	-	Casting Regrowth increases your movement speed by 5% for 3/6 seconds.

Tiger's Fury	TF	An off-Global Cooldown ability that instantly generates 50 Energy,and increases all damage you deal with Cat Form abilities by 15%for 10 seconds, with a 30-second cooldown. This is used rotationally toboost your Energy back up after spending a large amount, and for the damagebonus window it provides. This increase is snapshotted and applied to theentire DoT effect of any Bleed applied when active.
Primal Wrath	PW	Our multi-target Combo Point Bleed finisher, costing 20 Energy. Thisconsumes all Combo Points, dealing direct damage to targets hit and applying Rip for up to 12 seconds based on the number spent.
Berserk	Zerk	3-minute cooldown with a 20-second duration that generates 1 Combo Pointevery 1.5 seconds. It also causes Combo Point generating abilities to generate1 additional Combo Point and Finishing moves to restore up to 3 Combo Pointsthat have been generated past the cap of 5. Finally, Shred and Rake damage is increased by 50% for the duration.
Survival Instincts	SI	Grants 50% damage reduction for 6 seconds, with a 3-minute cooldown.
Brutal Slash	BrS	Replaces Swipe, dealing greater damage at a lower Energy cost of 25,but has a limit of 3 charges and an 8-second recharge timer.
Adaptive Swarm	AS	Applies a DoT effect to an enemy target or a HoT effect to yourself or an allywith 3 charges and a 25-second cooldown, and a 12-second duration. While a targetis affected by this, they take 25% more damage or healing from your DoT/HoT effects.More stacks can be generated if you apply this to a target already affected by itand will jump between Enemies and Allies, alternating each time it expires untilit runs out of charges.
Incarnation: Avatar of Ashamane	Incarn	Replaces Berserk, conferring all the bonuses gained by theregular version and other enhancing talents. Has an increased durationof 30 seconds, and reduces all Energy costs by 20% while active. Also grantsyou one use of Prowl while in combat. It still has a 3-minute cooldown.
Convoke the Spirits	Convoke	A 2-minute cooldown that will cast 16 randomly selected Druid spells froma pool (with a preference for Ferocious Bite) over 4 seconds. Spellsselected will prefer ones associated with your current shapeshift form.
Feral Frenzy	FF	Deals direct damage to your target and applies a heavy Bleed for 6 seconds,and generating 5 Combo Points instantly with a 45-second cooldown and 25 Energycost.

Omen of Clarity	OoC	Grants your auto-attacks a chance to make your next Shred, Thrash or Swipe / Brutal Slash cost noEnergy.
Dire Fixation	DF	Dealing damage with Shred applies a 10-second debuff to thetarget, increasing all damage you deal to them by 8% for 10 seconds. Thiscan only be applied to one target at a time.
Merciless Claws	MC	Increases the damage of Shred by 20% and Swipe / Brutal Slashby 15% on Bleeding targets.
Thrashing Claws	TC	Increases the damage of Shred by 5% against Bleeding targets and causesyour Shred and Swipe to apply the Bleed effect from Thrashwhen they deal damage.
Protective Growth	-	Your Regrowth HoT reduces all damage you take by 5% whileactive on yourself.
Predator	Pred	Increases the duration of Tiger's Fury by 5 seconds, and whenevera target dies while affected by one of your Bleed effects, the cooldownis reset.
Double-Clawed Rake	DCR	Causes your Rake Bleed to be applied to a second targetwhen cast.
Sabertooth	SBT	Causes your Ferocious Bite casts to increase the damage of allof your active Rip Bleeds by 5% per Combo Point spent for 4 seconds.
Tireless Energy	TE	Increases your maximum Energy by 30/60 and your base Energy regenerationrate by 10/20%.
Tear Open Wounds	TOW	Causes Primal Wrath casts to consume up to 4 seconds of youractive Rip Bleed effects on targets hit, dealing 60% of the damageinstantly.
Pouncing Strikes	-	Confers the following bonuses to specific abilities when used from Stealth: Shred deals 60% increased damage, has double the chance tocritically strike and generates 1 additional Combo Point. Rake deals 60% increased damage and stuns the target for4 seconds.
Sudden Ambush	SA	Grants your finishing moves a 6% chance per Combo Point to cause yournext, Rake or Shred within 15 seconds to deal damage as ifthey were cast from Stealth.
Lunar Inspiration	LI	Allows you to cast Moonfire while in Cat Form at thecost of 30 Energy, and causes it to generate 1 Combo Point.
Rampant Ferocity	RaF	Causes your Ferocious Bite to deal damage based on Combo Pointsspent to all nearby enemies affected by your Rip. This damage isaffected by Mastery.
Predatory Swiftness	PS	Finishing moves have a 20% chance per Combo Point spent to cause yournext, Regrowth or Entangling Roots cast within 12 secondsto be instant, free, and castable in any shapeshift form.
Moment of Clarity	MoC	Increases the chance for Omen of Clarity to trigger, allowsit to accumulate up to 2 charges (but only one is consumed at once) and causesit to increase the damage of abilities that consume it by 15%.
Infected Wounds	IW	Increases the damage dealt and the Bleed effect caused by Rakeby 30%, and causes it to slow the target by 20% for 12 seconds when cast.
Taste for Blood	TFB	Increases the damage of your Ferocious Bite by 5% for eachof your active Bleed effects present on the target.
Dreadful Bleeding	-	Increases all Rip damage you deal by 18%.
Relentless Predator	RP	Reduces the energy cost of Ferocious Bite by 10%.
Raging Fury	RF	Causes finishing moves to extend the duration of your active Tiger's Furyeffect by 0.4 seconds per Combo Point spent.
Tiger's Tenacity	TT	Your Tiger's Fury casts cause your next 3 finishing moves torestore 1 Combo Point when cast.
Berserk: Heart of the Lion	HotL	Reduces the cooldown of Berserk by 0.5 seconds perCombo Point spent.
Berserk: Frenzy	Frenzy	Causes your Combo Point generating abilities to apply an additionalBleed for 8 seconds to the target, dealing 100% of initial damage.
Wild Slashes	WS	Increases the damage of Thrash and Swipeby 25%.
Carnivorous Instinct	CI	Increases the damage bonus provided by Tiger's Fury by 6/12%.
Frantic Momentum	FM	Finishing moves have a 3/6% chance per Combo Point spent to grant 10%Haste for 6 seconds.
Bloodtalons	BT	Whenever you use 3 different Combo Point generating abilities within 4seconds of each other, you gain a buff with 3 charges that increases thedamage of your next Rip, Ferocious Bite or Primal Wrathcasts by 25%.
Lion's Strength	LS	Increases the damage of Ferocious Bite and Rip by 15%.
Soul of the Forest	SotF	Increases the damage of your finishing moves by 5% and causes them togenerate 3 Energy per Combo Point spent.
Saber Jaws	SJ	Damage generated from spending additional Energy on Ferocious Biteis increased by 40/80%.
Rip and Tear	RnT	Whenever you apply your Rip effect to a target, a secondaryBleed will also be applied that deals 15% of the damage over 8 seconds.
Veinripper	VR	Increases the duration of Rip, Rake and Thrashby 25%.
Unbridled Swarm	US	Grants Adaptive Swarm a 60% chance to split into two separate swarmseach time it jumps to a new target.
Ashamane's Guidance	AG	Depending on which prior talent is taken, this will either: While Incarnation: Avatar of Ashamane is active and for 30 secondsafter it fades, each of your Rip and Rake effects causeaffected enemies to take 3% additional damage from your abilities. Reduce the cooldown of Convoke the Spirits by 60 seconds, the numberof spells cast by 4 and the channel down to 3 seconds, and increasethe chance for it to select Feral Frenzy.
Circle of Life and Death	Circle, JW	Increases the rate at which your DoT effects deal damage by 20%, andyour HoT effects by 15%.
Apex Predator's Craving	Apex, APC	Any Rip damage you do has a 7.2% chance to cause your next Ferocious Bitecast to cost no Combo Points or Energy and deal the maximum possible damage(as if you had 50 Energy and 5 Combo Points). The proc chance adjusts downdepending on the number of active Rip DoTs you currently have active,but still increases in frequency with extra targets.
